Chancel Choir
This is our traditional adult church choir. The Chancel Choir sings in the 11:00 service each Sunday, September
thru May. They present a Christmas cantata in December and special music at the Lenten and Easter services.
The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30pm, September thru May.
Sanctuary Singers
If you like to sing in a choir, but want a little less commitment than the Chancel Choir requires, this group may be
for you! The Sanctuary Singers meets each Sunday immediately following the 8:30 service for a short 30-minute
rehearsal. They learn a very simple anthem to sing on the first Sunday of each month at the 8:30 service.
Handbell Choir
"Ridge Ringers" rehearses on Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:30pm during the school year. We meet in the sanctuary. No
handbell experience is necessary --- we can teach you how to ring a handbell! But some note reading
experience is helpful.
The contemporary music at Ridge Church is led by Michael Morrison. You can contact Michael by e-mail.
Worship Band
"Tsunami" leads worship every Sunday for our 9:45 contemporary service, Solid Ground. We have guitars,
keyboard, bass, drums, percussion, and singers. We play standard praise and worship songs as well as secular
music, related to the weekly topic. We rehearse Thursdays at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Instrumental Music
There is always a place and need for instrumental music in worship. If you are fairly accomplished on a
woodwind, brass or string instrument and would like to share your gift with us, please let us know! Contact Peggy
Schu for the 8:30 and 11:00 services or Michael Morrison for the 9:45 service.
Worship Arts
There are opportunities for people who are interested in visual arts (altar visuals, designing bulletin covers,
artwork around the building, etc.), liturgical dance, drama, and many other art forms. If you have a talent you
would like to share, please contact either Peggy Schu or the Worship Commission chairperson.
