At Ridge United Methodist Church we have a heart for Missions and are firm believers in the biblical admonition that
to whom much is given, much is required. As a result of this belief we strive to be active in Missions as a way of
giving our thanks back to God and making a difference in the world around us.
Additionally, service to others is a crucial part of the United Methodist experience. One of the four mission goals of
the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries is to:
Alleviate Human Suffering: We will help to initiate, strengthen and support ministries to the spiritual,
physical, emotional and social needs of people.
To that end, Ridge Church has many various opportunities to reach out in service, both near and far. If you are
interested in getting involved with the Mission Ministries of Ridge UMC please be in touch with Pastor Nathan.
Over the last couple of years we have been working to structure ourselves for more efficient ministry in our local
community, throughout the nation, throughout the world, and to all of God's creation. As a result we now have four
different mission teams: local, national, international, and environmental. Please spend some time exploring this
site to learn more about these ministries and the ways in which you can get involved.
